Star Wars Dice App | Published 23 January 2013

Elder Sign: Omens, Hey, That’s My Fish!, and the Star Wars™ Dice app are now available for your Kindle Fire from the Amazon app store! All three of these mobile device apps have been previously available for iOS and Google Play, with Elder Sign: Omens and Hey, That’s My Fish! also available on OSX. Now, Kindle Fire owners can take the horrors of Lovecraft’s fiction, fast-paced fishing fun, or the convenience of custom dice from a galaxy far, far away with them wherever they go.

The Museum Beckons

Elder Sign: Omens is based on the popular dice game by Richard Launius and Kevin Wilson. Players assemble a team of four intrepid investigators, who must do battle with horrifying creatures in order to secure Arkham’s museum, and stop an Ancient One from awakening! Control all four investigators yourself, or pass and play with friends to make the task of thwarting the Ancient One a group effort.

The only hope of the investigators lies in the gathering of Elder Signs, powerful sigils that can be used to seal the Ancient One away. Players use randomly generated glyphs to complete adventures and slay horrific monsters in order to gather Elder Signs. Collect enough of these eldritch symbols, and you can seal away the dreaded Ancient One. But beware: if the Ancient One wakes, then this world is doomed!

Custom Dice for Any Encounter

In the X-Wing™ Miniatures Game, custom eight-sided dice determine the outcome of exciting dogfights. With symbols for hits, critical hits, evasions, and focusing, these red and green dice intuitively convey everything players need to know to keep the action tense and the battles cinematic. The seven unique custom dice in the Star Wars Roleplaying Game are designed to seamlessly supplement your narrative, offering a range of storytelling options with each and every roll.

The Star Wars Dice app adds to both of these exciting Star Wars experiences by providing players with a convenient way to have their custom dice on hand everywhere they go. Customizable settings let you set a background and sound effects, save pre-set dice combinations, and roll up to twenty of these dice at once. With its recent update to version 1.1 the Star Wars Dice app features a more intuitive and streamlined interface, new options for customization, and more functionalities for an even better experience. The app also features seven standard polyhedral dice, making the Star Wars Dice app the only dice roller you’ll ever need!

Waddle Your Way to Victory

In Hey, That’s My Fish! you and up to three friends or AI players send your penguins on a fish hunt. Share the experience through pass and play or challenge yourself with the solo option against an adjustable AI competitor. Charge across the randomly constructed Antarctic landscape and collect as many fish as possible!

Though seemingly simple, your goal will be thwarted by devious penguins and a rapidly deteriorating game board. Make your move as the ice crumbles beneath your feet, and try to trap your opponents while building up points. What strategy will you construct to corner your competition and gather the most fish?

Elder Sign: Omens, Hey, That’s My Fish, and the Star Wars Dice app are all now available on the Amazon app store. Begin your investigations into the arcane, have some fishy fun, or test your luck in the battle for the galaxy on your Kindle Fire today!

The Star Wars Dice app is the ultimate accessory for both the X-Wing (TM) Miniatures Game and the Star Wars Roleplaying Game. This comprehensive application allows you to quickly and conveniently select and roll custom dice for FFG’s Star Wars games, and even includes an assortment of standard dice for all your gaming needs!
