Now that series 2 is here, is there any news on what aircraft will be in Series 3? Not that I'm impatient or anything.

I'm guessing that Series 3 is planned already, but there are a few planes that I would really like to see. Nieuport 17, favoured by many of the aces
SE5a, stablemate of the Camel and a near match for the DVII
Bristol Fighter, best(?) 2 seater in the war
Pfalz DIII, tough and under-rated fighter

Needless to say we would need a new set of damage cards as some of these had 1 gun on top of the wing, which is even worse than the single on the engine. And the early war battles are very difficult.

but the ones I am betting on are the nieuport 17 (the nieuport 16 with rockets is being considered with an balloon) the Albatross DIII (also in burning drachens) and maybe the SE 5a (cards in the next booster pack) and Ufag (in watch your back but not set 2)

Recon planes would be neat, like the slow all metal german recon plane (what was the name?)

sea bird would be awesome.

and some what-if birds would be nice. I've been looking at some of the 1/144 scale WWI models that somebody in another thread posted up a lot of links to various dealers.

I have 11 different manuever decks from the boxed sets, minis and the recon booster pack, and it wouldn't appear too difficult to match up any planes not already included in the game to a maneuver deck. That plus I believe the Top Fighters booster has two more manuever decks, L & M if I'm not mistaken. So there would seem to be a lot of latitude for that kind of thing for those who don't mind tracking down and building their own minis.

With regards to future plans I wish one of each model could be supplied in plain standard finish and there was a tie-up with a decal maker such as Dom's Decals in the UK or I-94 in the US to provide a range of options for each model. As it is I've commissioned two sheets from Dom to help in this process – these have now reached enough 'pledges to buy' that they are making it into production. I've heard that one too! Only I'm the one who gets rid of any game that I don't play any longer! I usually go down to my FLGS and trade it in, to keep it in circulation. If I'm not playing it, I'd rather see someone else get some game time with it!

A buddy of mine has a huge collection of wargames, and from time to time I've added some of my old titles to it. He has an enormous walk in closet that looks like a Wargame Hisorical Museum! He always tells me that if I ever change my mind and want any of them back, to just say the word! He's like a Wargame Historian.
