Re:Series 3 and future planes

Those sound great, how about these ones from the early war period.
Fokker Eindekker
Albatross D2
DH 2
FE 2b
BE 2
Nieu 11
Needless to say we would need a new set of damage cards as some of these had 1 gun on top of the wing, which is even worse than the single on the engine. And the early war battles are very difficult.

Early war birds would be nice. Sure they are not as flashy as some of the more beefed up planes and may not be as competitive, but players them in an early setting would be hell of a lot fun.

Recon planes would be neat, like the slow all metal german recon plane (what was the name?)

sea bird would be awesome.

and some what-if birds would be nice. Both made and never saw combat like the sop. salemander, several dozen were built and sent to france but the war ended in a month. and planes that were still on the drawing board.

That plus I believe the Top Fighters booster has two more manuever decks, L & M if I'm not mistaken. So there would seem to be a lot of latitude for that kind of thing for those who don't mind tracking down and building their own minis.

Rodger_Wilco has me on that course for DoW once more (different) maneuver decks are released for that game.

Re:Series 3 and future planes

When I measured up the Dr1 and Albatross I thought the Red Eagle and WoW matched up well in terms of wing span.

With regards to future plans I wish one of each model could be supplied in plain standard finish and there was a tie-up with a decal maker such as Dom's Decals in the UK or I-94 in the US to provide a range of options for each model. As it is I've commissioned two sheets from Dom to help in this process – these have now reached enough 'pledges to buy' that they are making it into production. If you're interested in customising your models check out:

https://sslrelay.com/www.domsdecals.com/sess/utn1547f1e61dcbda5/shopdata/index.shopscript

Click on the request box top right and scroll down to 1/144 WW1 for a list.

For series 4 I would like to see:

SE5a
Bristol Fighter

Pflaz D111
Siemens Schuckert

Future list is long but the Sopwith Pup, Triplane and One-and-a-half-Strutter are favourites of mine. Early war stuff is off less interest to me than later war.
