Hey Austin guys, I'm running a game this summer, during school it hasn't worked out. Just PM me, I've got a couple three people so far, I'd like to limit it to 5-6 at most.

Seams to me that I might be the only Canadian (or at least only Montrealer) on this board... I feel special.

Oh, already got a copy picked it up at the Border's on Dodge back in Feb. Just wondering if there were any local gaming stores that were carrying it for when IH gets here.

heh...well....

I honestly don't get around to many stores anymore. If I were going on a hunt, I'd probably check the Ground Zero's locations first, then Krypton and/or Coliseum (if they're still around). The Game Shoppe in Bellevue (again, if it's still going) might be another good shot. They had plenty of minis the last time I was there.

Ok, GZ, KC is still around although they moved recently, however they never carried the WHRP stuff so I doubt they'll be picking up DH. I don't think Coliseum is around any more, but I do think GS might be. Thanks for the suggestions, I perfer not to order things online if I can help it, 'cause I tend to be a bit of a paranoid leuddite in that area I've been going to DL as they have tended to get most of the stuff for WHRP, actually still had a copy of Tomb of Salvation last I checked, maybe I'll check one of them out when IH is released here, whenever that is *sigh*

Similar here - I'm in Reading, Berkshire, a little way from the town centre. My fortnightly game (presently full) runs at Eclectic Games, just across the road from Reading Central station (though they'll be relocating in a couple of months), and they have promised to stock any and all Dark Heresy products that're released if you're in the area and having trouble finding DH books (though be warned, they sell quickly - they had 20 copies of The Inquisitor's Handbook... of those, 18 were reserved in advance by regular customers, many of whom were either my current players or members of one of the two playtest groups Reading is home to)

4453 gamers on that site and 269 - 6% of them tagged Dogs in the Vineyard. That's more then Burning Wheel and Burning Empires combined. Add in the 25?! from Riddle of Steel and those three barely have more tags then Dogs. That's surprising.

Where in Hampshire?

We are playing in Kingston/Surbiton which is probably too far away.

If you get an opening Sha1emade, keep me in mind.

Right now, I'm between games (and likely will be for some time) so I'm really just browsing the books, forums and other 40K sites, and amusing myself with the setting. But I could be ready given a week or two notice.

Dorking/Guildford, Surrey, UK.

I GM and am run 1-2 sessions a week. We've a good if somewhat oddball crew and thus far we've had an acolyte tried by ordeal (having to weigh less than a symbol of the Imperium, which thanks to an Inquisitor's senility, happened to be a small hedgehog), the party having to tell the Redemption to stop burning witches and the most successful combatant in the party is a renovated kitchen servitor called Oscar whose upgraded combat whisk has depatched a daemon and a wounded and somewhat inexperienced Alpha Legion Space Marine...

The Internet, (everywhere with a connection).

I don't think that my real world life is conducive to actually playing face-to-face, but I'm always intrigued about online play, whether PbF (or PbP as I see people calling it), PbeM, or even PbIM...

Or does this warrant a new thread?

Not really. There are tonnes of good PbP sites around, like www.rpol.net, www.rpg.com, all sorts.

RPOL is where I do most of my roleplaying nowadays, though I still do tabletop too.

I do all my gaming online these days; given that I've often been playing with old friends after we've all moved all over the place, it's the only way we can still get together.

Still, a live in-person game might be nice again... I'm in Louisville, KY.
