In what vessels did they pour forth their polluted essences, in what form did they hope to subjugate the universe, with whose hands do they, even now, reach across the frontiers of space in vain aspirations of conquest? It is both obviously and painfully clear that it is WE who they venerate; they wish nothing more than to be like us, to be like Him whose children they envy…

Major Kaltos Remington;

And Seth Vars;

Both were NOT done by me, both were done by one my Acolytes in my group for extra experience.

I'd like to think he's very good.

To be honest I must say that I liked just like it is. I like the rough and sketchy look rather than a the crisp lining of a inked piece. Do you have a gallery?

I'm "trying" to create figures of all the main characters (PCs and NPCs) in my game. With varying levels of success.

These were our original team of Acolytes:

L to R : Barak "Sham" Haxtus (Hive Scum), Vansire (Hive world Tech Priest), Nihilus (Imperial Cleric) Zaddion (Imperial Guardsman) and Constantine (Void born assassin)

The current cell:

L to R: Malicia (Imperial Moritat Assassin), Vansire (Hive world Tech Priest), Barak "Sham" Haxtus (Hive Scum/Reclaimator - post cybernetic ressurection) and Zaddion (Imperial Guardsman - now in his Inquisitional trooper uniform). Behind them is their transport a "Calxian Tithe Collector" (see my article on Dark Reign for details), tied to which is an enigmatic NPC reffered to as "The Arch-Heretic".

Some significant NPCs:

L to R: Malicia (Imperial Moritat Assassin) again, Interrogator Quint, Senior Acolyte and Sage Aldous Devereux and Enforcer "Cleanly" Callaghan, Warden of the Divisio Immoralis.

Enjoy

Work in progress this one. It's a preliminary sketch for one of my friend's characters. I need his feedback before I go any further just to see if it's how he thinks his character looks. Be a bit unfair for me to decide for him
Anyway, here goes, as said this is early stages;

@Ripper... nice one! Love the face and skin tones, especially the orangish mid-tones you used against the
more purplish darker tones. Very nice!

A couple of days ago I had a bit of a break in work so I decided to paint up an NPC who's become fairly
important to my campaign and one that most are probably familiar with, though i think he's gone places in
my game he never has in others.

When i first introduced Interrogator Sands (from Edge of Darkness) to my group something went a bit
wrong. While trying for the smug air of superiority he was written up as having he suddenly started
coming off a lot like a slightly more psychotic Doctor Who. I'm not too sure how that happened but the
group really liked interacting with him so he stuck. I decided to make him a bit of a "this is your future"
sign to the players and ran with the direction the character was heading in. In my game, it's now been
decently established that Interrogator Sands is either so brilliant he thinks in ways no sane man could
fathom or he's just completely off his nut. The characters aren't too sure if it even has to be one or the
other. All they know is he's quite mad in a very cunning and shrewd way and is completely unpredictable
and dangerous.

With that in mind, here's a painting I did of Interrogator Sands.

A larger version, about a third again this size can be found HERE

I should mention that the yellow highlights and purple shading was inspired by Ripper's pic, so thanks for that
