Here is a Picture of two of the Miniatures that one of my Players made:

Left: Mind Cleansed Psyker / Right: Hive World Arbitrator

When in deadly danger,
When beset by doubt,
Run in little circles,
Wave your arms and shout.

WOW!

What scale and range were those made from?

In what vessels did they pour forth their polluted essences, in what form did they hope to subjugate the universe, with whose hands do they, even now, reach across the frontiers of space in vain aspirations of conquest? It is both obviously and painfully clear that it is WE who they venerate; they wish nothing more than to be like us, to be like Him whose children they envy…

Now THAT would make an interesting PC....a servo skull that retains the memories of its previous life...

The miniatures are all in the 28-30mm Scale.

The Psyker is IIRC a Hordes miniature and the end of his Staff comes from the 40k Imperial Guard Psykers.

The Arbitrator is an Infinity miniature, and his face was cut off from a different miniature range.

There's also a Techpriest (the Forgeworld Titan one), a Sniper Assassin, a Guardsman, and a Cleric following.

Here are two pieces that drew months ago ( sorry to post only the links but i think that large pics ruins any forum)

-First an Inquisitor reading some forbidden tome of warped knowledge (with illustrations)

http://ashen-victor.deviantart.com/art/Inquisitor-80333143

-And a recruiting poster for the female corps of the IG (my avatar comes from there)

http://ashen-victor.deviantart.com/art/Now-recruiting-86256099

They are no serious attempts, but only sketchy, funny to do pieces.

Comments are welcomed, heretics will be shoot!

Beautiful pic Evilscary...

A lovely illustration of what 40k can be when it moves away from the relentless grimdark imagery...

Well done mate.

I apologize for the bump, but I think this thread is needed, and I've got a picture of one of my players.

Okay, I really mean it this time!

When my psyker lost her arm in Shades on Twilight, I just had to materialize my vision of the very nice augmetic replacement she got. So, I cobbled together this cheesecake line art from photos and the like, and went to work with photoshop.

The reddish-purple panels are porphery, a marble beloved by roman nobility and referenced in relation to the adeptus astrotelepathica.

See I'm no good at drawing but I have written some intersting character background if people want it posting.

Also I have a converted mini for my Sword wielding Assassin Once we finish the fight on Monday night and reclaim it from the game board for finishing off painting it I will post pics.

Nice use of the Kreugar model above (the mindcleansed psyker)

What? I don't know what you've been smoking but that has to be the most grimdark thing I have ever seen!

That kind of sunset, that kind of silhouetted seen, so serene, it fills your heart with the wonder and beauty of the world. For one moment, you think it's really not all that bad and you gain hope for the future, yay! Then you realize that it's not a sunset at all, but a PLASMA BOMB detonating. That's why there's a bloody titan there! It's WAR! And that silhouetted forest, it's in silhouette because your eyes are being burned out by the radiance from the plasma blast and all around you rise the screams of the cute fuzzy bunnies dying. But that's not the end of it. The radiation (ya, sure, plasma has, um, radiation... of some kind... to it) reanimated the dead bunnies into flesh craving Bloodbunnies of Kohrne! And they storm across the plant, devouring all they see, bathing the parched war torn surface in BLOOD and you cry! Yes, you cry, not for the atrocities, for those you may have expected, but because for a brief moment, you actually felt hope, thought that things weren't that bleak, grim, dark, and the fall back to reality hurt all the more for it. That's grim, that's dark, that's bloody grimdark! ;p

Seriously, though, nice photomanip there Evilsacry, even if it's a touch over the top with relentless grimdarkness (I don't know how you can live with your self after depicting that happening to such cute and fuzzy bunnies!)

I love those minies as well! That's one thing I always wanted to get into but never had the capital to do. I just love the way a good paint job on a mini looks... somehow more real then real and so graphic!

@aethel Nice image and an interesting take on a bionic arm. I like the idea of the marble! For that picture, though, I feel like you missing out of the perfect opportunity to show flesh interacting in an interesting way with machine around her shoulder (possibly in an angry way... flesh tends to get intolerant of foreign objects after all).

Thanks for sharing all!

I'm sorry, I know it has been awhile since I've posted anything up here. I've been pretty busy with less enjoyable obligations so I haven’t gotten to finish much art as of late, but here is a pic I've been working on for peacekeepr_b. I haven’t had time to color it yet but when I do I will post up the color version as well. Well enough chitchat... Now Presenting
Commissar Nokolae Yusef Fury

I bow down to your skill once again.

Insane blotter scribblings- ho!
NPC actually; an ancient and utterly augmetised Lady Inquisitor; with the demeanour and appearance of a kind of clockwork killing-doll, kept alive by auto-chirurgical infusions of Juvenat drugs.
Kind of a lady Kroenen. Just, calculating.

Thats superb.

I would love to see the picture fleshed out more.

While reading designer diary, stumbled upon a link here, desided to register. Quite a few nice works, indeed. I was especially touched by delicate line art by Necrozius on 5th page (it's a shame the second one there ain't as hot, hehe). The last piece by Toxoplasma is nice as well.

And here's my WH char art, cleverly hidden under a thumbnail. Laying the full 1000px width here would be crude, I thought.

Totally sweet! I like the draftsmanship. Very easy to read, but still has a lot of volume and solidity.
I personally would scuff up the gun a bit or do something to make it less Trigun-y but, it's your character. =]
Nice work.
