The quest for the Crown of Command is fraught with peril, but often the greatest shield an adventurer can carry is knowledge.
Protect yourself! The Talisman FAQ (pdf, 228KB) is now available on the support page.
Talisman is a classic board game of adventuring in which journeys through the lands in search of the powerful Crown of Command. Take control of one of 14 different characters from a powerful Troll to a magical Druid, and enter a beloved world of fantasy adventure!
I'll drink to that. Let's just say that the previous book in the story was actually just a dream... ;)
Can we assume that the horrid period where Black Industries published Talisman and mad rule decisions is an aberration, a kind of rip in the fabric of spacetime, and forget EVERYTHIBGthose boneheads said and wrote?
Hem, this is merely v1.0 of the FAQ. I am sure there will be an opportunity to have more cleared up, especially when more people get hold of the Frostmarch.
Thanks for the FAQ, although after reading I'm not that completely satisfied with the contents. I should have posted my own questions in the forums, though, instead of complaining. Never mind !
Even if you think you have all the rules down pat, I'd still give this a read through. There are situations which haven't happened yet in my game that I might have run differently than the FAQ spells out. Thanks FFG for staying devoted to your products.
Now... reveal one of those "?" to be a Talisman Big Box expansion.
Thank you FFG, for your hard work to release the FAQ !!
