Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game | Published 30 October 2009

Teclis, the most powerful elf Archmage alive, brought magic to the Empire by helping Magnus the Pious found the Colleges of Magic...

The Changeling is an avatar of Tzeentch, the Changer of Ways. This sinister servant shifts and changes his appearance, deceiving friend and foe alike, to advance his master's inscrutable designs...

Fantasy Flight Games is proud to present League Play for Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game. In this organized play format, players can compete in a friendly and casual environment at their Friendly Local Game Store for cool prizes and a chance to help contribute to the future of the Warhammer: Invasion metagame.

A Warhammer: Invasion league is a great way to explore the Living Card Game™ in a casual format. A league is played over a number of weeks, with a card pool that makes the game more accessible to newer players.

The first Warhammer: Invasion storyline league kit features:
• A storyline campaign packet with a guide to starting and running a league at your store, as well as information on the current storyline and voting forms (see below).
• 1 24" x 14" playmat
• 1 Warhammer: Invasion binder
• 2 league pins

1" Soft enamel on black nickel lapel pins with a butterfly clutch.

These pins for the Chaos and Empire factions are your ticket to special invitational events coming next year. Anyone who has won a pin through their league or other event is automatically qualified to enter these special invitational tournaments. (More information coming soon.)

For this inaugural league storyline, the players of Warhammer: Invasion will have a choice to make:

The forces of Order and Destruction rise against each other in deadly combat, marshaling soldiers and siege engines, creatures and cultists, in order to claim total domination of the Old World. Now you must choose a side and help to bring a new champion into the fray. Will it be a lord of Order and light, or a master of Destruction?

The potential Champions of Order and Destuction

The votes cast in this league will determine whether Teclis or The Changeling enters the Warhammer: Invasion metagame. You decide!

Call your Friendly Local Game Store today and tell them that you want to start a Warhammer: Invasion league!

The battle begins and Order and Destruction will clash!

League kits cost $15 and are available to brick-and-mortar retailers through the Fantasy Flight Games B2B store. For more information and to sign up for a B2B account, contact your FFG sales rep or email [email protected].

Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game is a card game by Eric M. Lang in which 2 players develop their kingdoms and lay waste to their foes. Each side is comprised of either the forces of Order -Dwarfs, High Elves, Empire- or the forces of Destruction -Orcs, Chaos, Dark Elves- as they seek to extend their empire to include the entire Old World.

The Teclis card's power is desperately needed right now  - there's nothing in the game to really cancel someone's ability.  And it's pretty self-explanatory, really, I can't see how it would cause a lot of issues.

LOL... I think Teclis would need a whole FAQ just to himself!

Awesome.  Must win for destruction.  The changeling is so nice.  A card that would definently tip the balance for pure chaos decks!

One would hope that BOTH champions get added to the game eventually.

Exciting stuff.  As my first LCG I am really pleased to see this.  Will a list of participating stores be coming as well, or do I need to start calling around?
