Midnight Chronicles | Published 16 September 2009

Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce that Midnight Chronicles, our first ever full-length feature film, is now on sale at retailers and at our webstore! Midnight Chronicles immerses viewers in the dark and oppressive world of Midnight, the ENnie-award-winning RPG from FFG.

It has been a hundred years since the Shadow fell...

In the world of Midnight, the dark god Izrador reigns victorious. Izrador has finally defeated the heroes and armies of the free races after countless years of war. Now he rules mankind with an iron fist, while the Elves and Dwarves have retreated to distant forests and mountains to fight an ever-weakening resistance.

Midnight Chronicles tells the story of the legate Mag Kiln, who has been ordered to travel to the small Erenlander town of Blackweir to investigate the disappearance of a fellow priest. Blackweir is an unruly and dangerous place, where a corrupt mayor lines her purse through her own cunning, a mysterious resistance leader known only as “the Hunter” defends the townsfolk while hiding a dark secret, and a simple farm boy begins to discover his own untapped potential.

The DVD brings this grim struggle into your home along with a host of special features and never-before-seen extras, including an exclusive D&D 4th ed adventure set in the world of Midnight, a pdf of the Midnight 2nd edition roleplaying game core book, and plenty of behind-the-scenes footage!

Check out the description page to learn more about Midnight Chronicles, then head over to your local retailer or to our webstore to grab your copy!

Midnight Chronicles is FFG's first full-length feature film. Based on the critically acclaimed Midnight RPG, Midnight Chronicles tells the story of heroes struggling in a dark world dominated by an immortal tyrant.

This is not a review of the film, but I did want to say that I did enjoy it very much.  It definitely made me want to watch more.  I hope this is picked up by the Sci-Fi channel.

O I hope that the movie is also a preview and we will see a comeback of the system.

Midnight - my beloved system after Warhammer. O All the memories, I will buy the film even just for fun - there's never to much good fantasy movies.

Just want to say I am one of the region 2 dvd owners. I really enjoyed this. It has the feel of a tv show rather than a film but as I recall this was geared as a pilot for (hopefully) a series. With good sales maybe that is still an option, I certainly would like that to happen. Midnight was one of the best settings available for 3.5, gritty and dark ( I avoided the grim and perilous pun there).

I would like some info and where Midnight stands in the eyes of FFG. There are a lot of fans out there, a bit shout out to againsttheshadow and darknessfalls websites for their hard work in keeping Midnight alive. Peole do want more.
