In Midnight Chronicles legate Mag Kiln (Charles Hubbell), a priest of the Shadow, has been ordered to travel to the small Erenlander town of Blackweir to investigate the disappearance of a fellow priest. There, he soon becomes entangled in an old mystery and begins to uncover not only the forbidden legacy of the town, but also the malevolent, prophetic force that grows within him.
Midnight Chronicles is an epic fantasy film set in the award-winning universe of the Midnight roleplaying game, a world where the scattered forces of good are pitted against the dominating evil of the ever-present Shadow. Written and directed by Fantasy Flight Games' Christian T. Petersen, Midnight Chronicles represents the culmination of years of labor and is a shining example of independent fantasy filmmaking.

A great movie! I hope that the rumors are true and that this is an introduction to several more episodes!
I was waiting for this one, hope it will be really good!
There is a region 2 version of the film. In fact it was the first version released i.e. before Gencon. It's available from Amazon and Play as well as HMV.
Be warned it has NONE of the extras that the region 1 version has.
The DVD is region 1 formatted. Thanks!
Anyone know if the DVD is Region Free or is it locked to region 1?
This is a great movie. However, I have to admit after watching and loving The Gamers and The Gamers: Dorkness Rising, two fabulously funny movies by Dead Gentlemen Productions about D & D campaigns, in our family we can never again hear about a villain called "The Shadow" with a straight face. The phrase "It's the Shadow..." is one that is guaranteed to bring gales of laughter, even in a movie as serious and well-produced as this one by FFG.
Looks awesome!
Will the DVD version be available at local game stores? If so, when?
