Attention BattleLore Commanders!
Field your armies with boosted Dwarven Cattle Riders and the improved Goblin Sling ammunition designed by BattleLore creator, Richard Borg! Commanders can print out the following altered cards that take the place of the existing cards of the same name.

Set in a world that bridges history and fantasy, BattleLore is board game that puts players in command of a vast array of miniature troops on the battlefields of medieval Europe. Using the easy-to-learn Commands and Colors system, players can wage thrilling battles without a lengthy time commitment.
I like these upgrades. It makes the dwarven mounted units worth playing with, and makes it so the gobins actually have a chance against the dwarves! any gobin vs. dwarf maps I've played so far try to be balanced, but it's just too easy to win with the dwarves.
also anybody noticed the differences in slingshot artwork and the slinger figures + sling card?
Any addition is got to be good as it means there is still hope for new stuff! Bring on the Heroes! And the other mighty races :-)
Undead! Elves! Orcs! Saracens? Flying Units (Dragons/Pegasus/Raptors)? Mercenary Norsemen!!
It was about time that FFG rediscovered Battlelore. Can't wait for all the other races mentioned by Richard Borg!
Thanks for at least something, FFG. Appreciated.
Yay, keep 'em coming!!
Hopefully this is the first of a stream of upgrades for Battlelore. This is a game in need of some TLC.
Way to go! Thanks a lot for the news :)
Hmm. I guess you're right. I must just be burnt out waiting for new stuff for Battlelore. Still, this doesn't seem that much of a difference to me. It just doesn't add enough flavor. Besides, training camps aren't really that common.
Still, I'm not ungrateful. Glad to see Richard and FFG bringing more stuff to the game that got me started in Ameritrash.
that means the sling unit moves like a green unit but battles like a blue unit, get it on to a training camp and it'll move like a blue unit and battle like a red. Sounds like a mighty powerful upgrade to me!
This is hilarious. Look at the Sling. It says the number of dice isn't reduced when they move. BUT if they stay still, they get +1d. What a joke.
Yippeee, now these units are a bit more likely to be chosen with CtA
Finally, something official! Will have to try these out.
