The Rig Makes the Runner
Announcing the First Android: Netrunner Game Night Kits
Android: Netrunner The Card Game | Published 31 October 2012

“They say the rig makes the runner, but I don’t buy it. Still, when it’s my brain on the line, I’d much rather have a top-of-the-line Armitage CPU than some piece of junk that only processes at 87 zetas.”
      –Ji “Noise” Reilly, runner

Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce that the first Game Night Kits for Android: Netrunner The Card Game are now available to retailers through our B2B store!

Android: Netrunner is a two-player Living Card Game™ set in a dystopian, cyberpunk future that pits monolithic megacorps own and their efforts to advance their agendas against the elite and subversive hackers known as runners. Its classic, asymmetrical game design has been a tremendous hit since the release of the game’s Core Set. Now, with the release of Android: Netrunner Game Night Kits, it’s time for runners everywhere to jack into the network and unleash some cybercrime.

The Android: Netrunner Game Night Kit

The foundation of Fantasy Flight Games Organized Play, Game Night Kits provide players a simple way to get involved with their local gaming communities year-round. Organizers of Game Nights can run them as casual leagues, informal open-play events, competitive leagues, or as one-day tournaments. They have complete freedom when they schedule these events, and our Game Night Kits are meant to support their efforts.

The Android: Netrunner Game Night Kit offers players physical rewards for their virtual struggles. As Corps and Runners vie for control of the world’s most valuable data, they can play their games on the Game Night Kit’s two demo posters. Then once the Game Night, demo, tournament, or league has concluded, participants receive their rewards.

The fourth quarter 2012 Android: Netrunner Game Night Kit includes:

  • One Android: Netrunner promotional poster
  • Two demo posters to identify play areas for new players (one Corp, one Runner)
  • Eight sets of seven faction-themed deck dividers
  • Two sets of seven custom, faction-themed, acrylic tokens
  • One high-quality Android: Netrunner playmat

Retailers can order our Game Night Kits, including the Android: Netrunner Game Night Kit, through our B2B store.
