Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce the Summer 2011 LCG Game Night Kits for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, Call of Cthulhu: The Card Game, and Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game!
Whether you’re looking to grow a new, casual gaming community or encourage your established, competitive group, these kits offer prize support and structure to heat up summer participation.
The centerpiece of each Game Night Kit is the achievement card. Achievements are in-game objectives, ranging from easier goals that are perfect for newer players to difficult tasks that will challenge even the most experienced veterans. Because the achievements are geared toward diversity, players find encouragement to try new decks, keeping the play experience fresh and rewarding. Each kit features souvenir booklets filled with achievements customized to your game.
A Game Night season generally runs for six weeks. The organizer sets a time and day of the week for the Game Night. On the first night you’ll receive your achievement card to track your progress. Although official tournament rules exist for each card game, the organizer and players may determine the limitations and ground rules of a Game Night. At the end of the six weeks, winners are determined, and participants receive prizes from the Game Night Kits.
Game Night Kits are available on our B2B store.

@Jack -- agree. Although the patches are cool, the power counters are likely to be a much more sought after prize -- even though the patches can be used as a "participation prize." But by this point we've received so many of the pins my players don't even take them as prizes anymore.
On the other hand, I'm likely to order a CoC kit just to have a set of the tokens to use as GoT power counters. My Cthulhu counters are with my Greyjoy deck, and I'll try to win the Hastur counters for my Martell deck.
The deck boxes are neat, but I'd rather have the playmats back.
so the old game kits had pins a deck box booklets and 30 house specific tokens, this box has pins a deck box booklets and. . .. . . 8 house stark patches?
comon FFG, give me power tokens, unique house cards, hell even different looking gold. but house stark patches?
For the GoT kit, what exactly are the "achievements" in the books? How is the book intended to be used? I'm guessing each participant gets a book. It certainly is nice to see that the core set is on its way finally. It's kind of hard to recruit people for organized play without the base game in stock.
I'd also like to know about the prospect of organized play for the LotR game. It's kind of hard this early in the life of the product but are there future plans for organized play for LotR with prize support? The LotR LCG is a much more popular game in my area.
ADMIN: International retailers should contact their local distributors for Game Night Kits.
Great, thanks Toqtamish!
