Last week we announced the return of Cosmic Encounter to store shelves and asked if you could guess which of its 50 iconic Aliens would grace the cover. Today, we have your answer: Parasite. This amusing art piece depicts the Parasite stealing the life force from the ever-downtrodden Pacifist.

While the board game itself remains unchanged, the new cover now portrays the rich theme of this classic game.

Through various struggles between your ships and your opponents’ you can claim victory: be the first race to have five colonies occupying your opponents’ home planet systems.

Every space encounter is unique in Cosmic Encounter as you are able to recruit other players to ally with you during your battles. But do your allies’ agendas match your own or is the negotiation ill-fated?
