The rules for Bearded Brave (pdf, 612 KB; excerpt excludes scenarios), the latest expansion for BattleLore, are now online. Visit the BattleLore support page to download them now! Bearded Brave comes with six different types of Iron Dwarf units, each with their own miniatures and reference cards to be used when fielding them in battle. From Bear Riders to Mighty Bolt Throwers, these Dwarves can either bolster your forces in pre-made adventures or can be recruited into your custom armies using the BattleLore: Call to Arms expansion.

With 40 new figures, 27 cards, and a rule book featuring 4 new adventures, Bearded Brave has no shortage of new materials for your BattleLore games! Keep an eye on the horizon and watch for your short-yet-stalwart allies: the Iron Dwarves!

Set in a world that bridges history and fantasy, BattleLore is board game that puts 2 players in command of a vast array of miniature troops on the battlefields of medieval Europe. Using the easy-to-learn Commands and Colors system, players can wage thrilling battles quickly!

the dwarven bear riders must have become the strongest unit in the game. slow but explosive. it will be interesting to see them against knights. and they'll probably be the first target of every goblin with something to throw...

Did I read that right? Bear cavs have 4 figures in it?  That is one crazy Red Mounted unit.  Exploding dice too?  My goblins are doomed!

Yes, but what do the specialist cards say? Just a little bit to blury to read them. I hope they don't say "replace Dwarven units with Dwarven units in sections that only consist of Dwarven units."
