The Game Master’s Kit for Deathwatch is now available for sale via download at drivethrurpg.com and rpgnow.com! With the Deathwatch Core Rulebook, players experience heart-pounding action and unique mission-driven roleplaying. But every mission has a purpose, and it is up to the Game Master to devise that purpose.
The Game Master’s Kit helps keep a Kill-team’s Missions from going astray! The downloadable version comes complete with a pdf of the GM screen, featuring stunning Deathwatch artwork and useful tables, charts, rules, and statistics.
Added to this is a 32-page full colour booklet with a selection of useful NPCs, an expanded Mission-generation system, and a complete adventure! The Jericho Reach teems with xenos secrets and mysteries from before the Age of Shadow. One enigma amongst many is Baraban, a forested planet where “ghosts” haunt Imperial Guardsmen and their Tau enemies alike.
The included adventure, The Shadow of Madness, explores what unfathomed forces may have cursed the planet Baraban, and raises questions about their connection to the unknown purpose of the waiting Omega Vault.
Also in the Game Master’s Kit book is a section devoted to aiding Game Masters in devising missions and implementing them into your own Deathwatch campaigns. Finally, the back of the book serves an appendix detailing the important NPCs that the Kill-team may encounter, plus plenty of adventure seeds for each.
Offering a wealth of useful content, the Game Master’s Kit is the perfect enhancement to your Deathwatch experience. Head to drivethrurpg.com or rpgnow.com and download your copy!
Deathwatch is a roleplaying
game in which players take on the roles of the bio-engineered super-soldiers known as Space Marines. United with their battle-brothers, players will complete extraordinary missions involving some of the greatest heroes and deadliest opponents the Warhammer 40,000 universe has to offer.
I think the real one is a better option. I agree that the best one in terms of extras is the DH one
I own them all of course as i am beyond reason......
Screen AP=12
Quite possibly the best screen itself I have ever seen. Practically protects you from angry PC thrown objects.
The adventure included is the real gem - the best DW adventure so far!
Actually, of the three GMs kits so far, this one comes in third place. I do enjoy the alternate kroot stats and the Vespid stats, but other then that, Rogue Trader GMs kit still takes the cake (though DH GM Kit with the Slauhgt and Xeno Generator was pretty cool).
Yeah, I have to say, the main draw of the screen is that it's a screen. Not having a physical screen is a bit silly.
Nevertheless, the booklet that comes with it is worth the price of admission alone. I'd still suggest buying the real thing (the screen is very high quality), but if you can't or don't want the screen, then get this for the booklet.
GM screen in pdf is a bit fail :-)
get real one, it's the best :D
