Announcing the upcoming availability of BattleLore expansions

More good news for BattleLore players!

Last week we announced the upcoming availability of the BattleLore Core Set. By repurposing a supply of French Core Sets, Fantasy Flight Games is able to offer fans the BattleLore Core Sets once more. You can view that article here. Similarly to these Core Sets, several BattleLore expansions will also be made available in the near future.

Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce the upcoming availability of the following BattleLore expansions: Goblin Skirmishers, Goblin Marauders, Dwarven Battalion, Scottish Wars, and The Hundred Years’ War.

Much like the repurposing of the French Core Sets, these expansions will feature English language components with rules and information available online as PDF downloads.

The battle lines are growing! Don’t miss your chance to pick up these great products as Fantasy Flight Games makes them available for English fans!

Visit the BattleLore website for more information.

Set in a world that bridges history and fantasy, BattleLore is board game that puts 2 players in command of a vast array of miniature troops on the battlefields of medieval Europe. Using the easy-to-learn Commands and Colors system, players can wage thrilling battles quickly!

Any information from FFG as to when this will occur and through which distribution channels would be greatly appreciated.  Checking the news page everyday is getting old.

Any idea when they will come out? I don't expect it takes long to reprint just the cards and rearrange the boxes. I know this is not a very patient statement... :] I'm just thinking if I pre-order Bearded Brave and Code of Chivalry already, or if I wait till the repurposed products comes out.

Thanks for the answear!

One question for FFG: When are you planning to finally release official Adventure Editor like was on DoW site? Im really missing this stuff, I want to create my own scenarios in beautiful graphics.

That's great news. I'm glad these will be available to those who missed out the first time around.

However, what happens after the repurposed French sets are gone? Will these see an official reprint? Or are the French repurposed sets a last hurrah before Christmas?

The other side of the coin is that these are just a short term solution while proper reprints are sourced, allowing the base set to be available again, which in turn allows FFG to perhaps release new races in 2011??

I hope this is the start of something big for Battlelore!

Cheers,
Ben.
