"R'hllor chooses such instruments as he requires." The ruby at Melisandre's throat shone redly. "His ways are mysterious, but no man may withstand his fiery will."
- George R.R. Martin, A Song of Ice and Fire, Volume III: A Storm of Swords
Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce the release of Rituals of R'hllor, the second Chapter Pack of the new Brotherhood Without Banners cycle of expansions for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, at your favorite local game store and at the FFG webstore!
This Chapter Pack is the second in an exciting new cycle that introduces and deepens new subfactions to the existing A Game of Thrones metagame. You can check out "They Swear Allegiance to None", an article previewing this cycle, with insights by the game's designer. The other Great Houses will also get some support for their growing subfactions of Clansman, Raider, Dothraki, House Dayne, and House Bolton. Rituals of R'hllor will bring a new level of theme and strategy to A Game of Thrones!
Based on George R.R. Martin's bestselling fantasy epic A Song of Ice and Fire, A Game of Thrones: The Card Game, playable by 2-4 players, brings the beloved heroes, villains, locations, and events of the world of Westeros to life through innovative game mechanics and the highly strategic game play. The Living Card Game format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Chapter Pack expansions to the core game.
Wow...2-3 of those out plus Confession and you'll be sniping your opponent's hand to smithereens. Add in the new attachment that grants a Bara Location Vigilant and it becomes even better (when combined with the event or the plot that gives an extra intrigue challengeor just on defense).
I think this will be the marquee card for most Bara Holy decks.
Wow. I can´t believe that it´s non- unique. Without the opportunity to play cards in the shadows this card could become a NPE.
Anyway, now i want to play an asshai deck... :-)
holy crest love man this going to be sweet set that is coming out soon
Very nice this looks like it will be a great card especally when Kings of the Storms come out.
A location based "confession" (referring to Altar of Fire). Interesting.
in the WE I'll post the censored version of the OCTGN plugin. Stay tuned. And I think Rogue will post spoilers on its site!
I may have just found a new card for the "Top 5 most powerful cards in the game" thread. lol.
Oh, jeez...that is a TOUGH card...
Excellent! I hope the spoilers come in soon.
