FFG and Dust Games begin a new publishing partnership
News | Published 09 July 2010

The Summer of 2010 is in full swing.

Fantasy Flight Games and Dust Games have entered into a brand new, ongoing publishing partnership that is going to allow our two great companies to release some tremendous products, effective immediately.

Come to the Fantasy Flight Games booth at Gen Con 2010 to experience the premiere debut of Dust Tactics and Cadwallon: City of Thieves!

This remarkable opportunity arose thanks to the fine folks at Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG), who approached us with a proposal that we were very excited to accept. We want to thank  both AEG and Dust Games for giving Fantasy Flight Games the chance to take on these exciting properties.

If you hold a ticket for any Dust Tactics or Cadwallon: City of Thieves event at Gen Con 2010, you’ll be happy to learn that the existing calendar remains unchanged.

All Gen Con events for both Dust Tactics and Cadwallon: CIty of Thieves, including the Dust Tactics Gen Con Skirmish, are being run by Fantasy Flight Games staff at their previously announced schedules. Each event will occur at its original time and location. No times or locations have changed.

In addition, Dust Tactics Gen Con Skirmish participants are still going to receive their promotional figures and decals, can still win a special promo robot, and can enter the drawing to win one of two pre-painted sets of Dust Tactics!

Fantasy Flight Games is set and ready for the impending Gen Con release of Dust Tactics and Cadwallon: City of Thieves, and is already working on what comes next. We’ve only just begun.

See you at Gen Con!

Any chance for a new Cadwallon RPG with W40kRP rules (and with a LOT of Paul Bonner artwork!)? :]

Cadwallon?

Seriously?

FFG, you lost my respect after you ran the KH TCG and UFS into the ground; but this new partnership has opened up a whole host of new possibilities. I can't wait for the Cadwallon release.

 @hahnarama

According to the announcement on their boards, AEG is growing faster than they planned. They were surprised with their success, and I'm assuming they just don't have the manpower to handle all the titles they were planning on releasing. That sounds like good news for everybody to me. They're doing well, FFG gets these titles, we still get to play the games.

 Man this is just plain odd! Why would any company hand over two BRAND new titles that have yet to see the light of day.

I wonder what the health of AEG is.

Maybe this will be a good thing. Like the price point of Dust Tactics dropping below the $99 MSRP :)
