The Rules for Talisman: The Highland are now online
Talisman | Published 10 May 2010

Clouds enshroud the mountain’s peak.
Exhausted from the long ascent, you barely keep your grip as the stones beneath you give way and tumble perilously down the slope. But you still keep climbing…
…for the Highland beckons you!

Though the long ascent to the Eagle King's domain will be perilous, you can prepare yourself by learning the terrain in advance. The rules to The Highland (pdf, 13.5 MB), the upcoming expansion for Talisman, are now on our support page!

Talisman is a classic board game of adventuring through the lands in search of the powerful Crown of Command. Take control of one of 14 different characters from a powerful Troll to a magical Druid, and enter a beloved world of fantasy adventure!

I Love the Idea of trinkets but the Eagle King Seems Weak.

It looks great and I am glad to see some of the old Characters returning as well as the new ones. Can't wait to add t his one to my collection. Personally I would love to see Timescape again. Looking forward to City and Islands as well.

A little bit boring that rules and the whole region are so similar to Dungeon. I hope that two left corners take board with different mechanics like City or Islands instead of Timescape. No Forrest - another Dungeon/Higland - please.

I have read the rules, very interesting. I think anyway rarely a player will want to explore highlands more than one or two times; Relics are 4 and if a player is lucky can gain one of them at lost city avoiding any fight with eagle king. But trinket's idea is very pretty, and the event which make draw highlands cards instead adventure cards add some random fact even for players on middle or outer region. I'm curious about new alternative endings (i hope FFG will put Dance Macabre too, cause my own-printed version is not so cool as the others :D ) and about new spells. I want this new region :D
