Assault on Ulthuan, the first deluxe expansion for Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game, is now on sale at your local retailer and on our webstore! This exciting expansion brings two new factions to the forefront of the war for the Old World.
The Assault on Ulthuan expansion explores the bitter enmity between the Dark Elves and the High Elves. The Dark Elves are a cruel race who excel at taking prisoners, sacrificing them, and inflicting vast amounts of pain on enemy units through hit point reduction. This treacherous faction seeks to enslave the other races of the Warhammer world. The High Elves are a proud, powerful race who rely on card denial, cancellation, healing, and ranged attacks. They work to heal damage to the world and unlock the ancient mysteries of the arcane. Both will raise mighty kingdoms and venture out on perilous quests as they seek the power to stand victorious. Can either faction rise to dominance over the other, or will they both succumb to another foe altogether?
Assault on Ulthuan contains two core starter decks of forty cards, as well as two capital boards for the Dark Elves and High Elves. Players of the existing factions will find plenty to aid them as well; new cards for the other four factions, plus a handful of neutrals, bring a host of new strategies, tactics, and deck-building options for each of the six races in the game.
The war for supremacy over the Old World has already seen bloodshed and suffering beyond imagination... but this was only the beginning. Now, two new forces join the invasion! Head over to your friendly local game store and grab your copy today!
Warhammer: Invasion The Card Game is a card game by Eric M. Lang in which 2 players develop their kingdoms and lay waste to their foes. Each side is comprised of either the forces of Order or the forces of Destruction as they seek to extend their empire to include the entire Old World. The Living Card Game™ format allows players to customize their gaming experience with monthly Battle Pack expansions to the core game.
To be honest I was massively Dissappointed in the dark Elves. Since they seem to be more support type of a faction without the other people from Destruction. The High Elves on the otherhand are very well faction. They need some downside a bit but other then that they are peachy.
I ordered it today, really looking forward to the pack to arrive :)
In UK shops as of the 5th April :)
Awesome! It's time for the Elves to get down and dirty!
Aah finally! Excellent! I looke forward to finally making a Dark Elves deck!
Any idea when will it be available in the UK?
Excellent! I hope amazon gets my preorder to me soon. Something tells me I shouldn't hold my breath though.
Yes the battle packs being in triplets in the future is awesome, if only because of all the duplicate cards I have laying around which is a waste of trees and money:)
Thanks, Christian. That makes sense. We all appreciate the change in how the Battlepacks will be packaged, going forward. :)
In Core LCG sets, and "Core Expansions" (of which SoU is) will never be in triplicate, expansions (Battle Packs, etc) will (starting this Spring).
In the core sets, FFG feels that diversity of cards is more important than flexibility of deck-building. In other words, we would rather have a core set have 150 *different* cards in one copy, than 50 different cards in three copies. There is a misunderstanding that all releases will have cards in triplicate, this is not true for core releases.

I hope that in the future expansions won´t be cards in 1,2,3 copies. I thought LCG is about spending less money but buying 3 boxes isn´t so cheap.
FINALLY!!! Man, I've been waiting for this expansion for seems like foreva!!! Sucks that I have to wait for mine to arrive in the mail.
