Another character preview for The Highland, an upcoming Talisman expansion |

From a dank mausoleum deep in the Graveyard, an unholy being rises from her grave. In life, she was wealthy and powerful... but in her greed she made a pact with dark forces; she won eternal life, but now must stalk the night as an abomination of nature, preying on the living.
She is hunted by the good people of the land, made to hide like an animal from the weapons of angry peasants. But not for long... for she has left the safety of her tomb to seek the power of the Crown of Command, and if she acquires it, she will gorge herself on the blood of the living for all time!
The Highland, a new expansion for Talisman, is heading your way this spring. With it comes a custom-fitted map board and over 100 new cards, along with six brand-new characters, each represented by a superbly detailed plastic playing piece! We saw the first of these characters, the Alchemist, two weeks ago. Today, let’s take a look at the evil Vampiress.

A powerful and seductive undead entity cursed with the need to prowl the night, the Vampiress can feed on the recently deceased of the Graveyard, healing her life by one. And if her victim isn’t quite dead yet... well, she can deal with that too. She can tempt followers away from their masters, and either keep them for herself or make a light snack of them!

The abilities are awesome, and the mini is nice, though painting the neck/necklace area will be hard. Even with the most delicate drybrushing I think it'll be a bit messy.

I want this expansion now, now NOW! Hehehe. cool character. Too bad I lack the space to use all the boards but I never say no to new cards and characters!

Nice powers. I like the fact she can take a follower and then take a life. Kinda reminds me of the saracen and the dark elf from the 2nd ed.
Cant wait for this x-pac to come out.

Powerful. The ability to steal a follower with no restrictions rocks. I can see a lotta time spent trying to knock her off Coc!

She is nice. The Character feels like a vampire with the Talisman rules.

Can't wait to get this expansion. The Vampiress looks cool. I like the ability to suck blood from your followers.

I think she looks WAY cool. Part bat, part aristocrat, part seductress.
Pretty much nailed the concept, in my opinion.

I agree with Vandimar77.....she's leaning towards an Elvira-look. May have been slightly better with more of a 13th Century design.

Very nice to see a new Undead character besides the Ghoul......cool artwork as well. Wish that some of the abilities were a bit more unique, but still good.
