Threats From Below and Above 3
Announcing two new metal miniatures for Descent: Sea of Blood
Descent: Journeys In The Dark | Published 12 January 2010

A mighty Overlord casting the world into destruction needs strong leaders to oversee his many minions. Bring your Sea of Blood Lieutenant tokens alive with highly detailed metal miniatures!

Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce the next two metal lieutenant miniatures for the Sea of Blood expansion to Descent: Journeys in the Dark! These detailed sculpts by Cipher Studios, the creators of Anima Tactics, will bring a new dimension to your Sea of Blood campaign.

Soriss, the loyal pet of the vile Mistress of Serpents, has roamed the seas of Torue Albes since ancient times. Heroes foolish enough to wander into her constricting grip find themselves unable to escape, as Soriss squeezes the life from them without mercy! This serpent from the deep is powerful beyond measure and seemingly immortal. Do you have the courage to face it in battle?

And if the threat from below isn’t terrifying enough, look to the skies! Blocking the sun with a massive wingspan, Darkwind soars the skies about Torue Albes, serving as the Master of the Hunt’s eyes. He watches and waits, his shrill cries guiding his master to his latest prey... and when the moment is right, he strikes, knocking unwary sailors into the perilous water.

Be ready to step up your game when these detailed metal miniatures sail into stores this spring!

Descent: Journeys in the Dark is a tactical board game for 2-5 players that takes a party of adventurers deep into the dungeons of Terrinoth for adventure, treasure, and glory. But beware! The Overlord and his minions stand poised to oppose any heroes foolhardy enough to enter the dungeon.

Well the Kraken mini does come with 4 tentacles on their own bases.  Those would work as tentacle minis whenever the kraken isn't around =P

Love to have Avatar minis, as well as tentacle minis instead of the cardboard ones in SoB.
