Well Said Crimson,

I had no idea about the history of this title (I did a quick scan up in the description to make sure I hadn't just overlooked this), so it's pretty interesting to me to learn that this is a French fantasy classic. Thanks for the information.

Being French, I've had the opportunity to read Percevan when I was a child (the first I ever read was Le Pays d'Aslor around 1987 I guess) and I have to say this is a great fantasy comic.

Comic edition might not be FFG's main activity, I was really proud and glad to learn that they were going to translate and publish those great books. I think you people are quite lucky for such a chance to discover foreign great fantasy stories. Those amongst you who read French should definitely take a look on comics like Légendes des Contrées Oubliées or La Quête de l'Oiseau du Temps (in a very different style than Percevan's).

IMHO FFG is about gaming and telling stories, presenting great fantasy or sci-fi universes, so whatever the products, be they miniatures games, classic-style boardgames, RPGs, card games or even comic books, it's all the same to me : they just allow us to dream.

The art is somewhat reminicent of ElfQuest.

Eh, cancel that, I haven't read it and aught to give it a fair shake. The What is mostly in my surprise that you guys are branching into comics and books, but in retrospect, that makes sense. You guys sell story games, why not sell stories? :)

No offence or anything FFG, I love you guys, but...
