Now that so many fans have had a chance to experience Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, players around the world are eager to see how Fantasy Flight Games will be developing the line to enhance their campaigns and add even more excitement to their roleplaying sessions.
Rest assured, there are many exciting projects ahead for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay. The development team is working on a wide range of products that explore different parts of the rich Warhammer Fantasy setting, provide additional information on important parts of the Old World, and add more options and depth to your game.
Some people may have heard rumours and speculation about what lies ahead. The Old World is shrouded in such mysteries. So I thought, who better to pierce the veil of secrecy surrounding the future of Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay and to shed light on these shadow-shrouded topics than a Grey Wizard, a master of illusion, trickery, and secrets?
By downloading the Sifting Through Shadows PDF (1.5 MB), you can follow along as Gavius Klugge, renowned Master Wizard of the Grey Order (and alleged author of much of the Tome of Mysteries found in the core set), shares his personal thoughts and musings on what the future holds in store.
Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay is a roleplaying game that sets unlikely heroes on the road to perilous adventure, in the grim setting of Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy world. Players will venture into the dark corners of the Empire, guided by luck and Fate, and challenge the threats that others cannot or will not face.
Impressive, very impressive! This is undoubtedly the most exciting and fun rpg fantasy release I can remember since 1st edition.
Now I have to expand my miniatures to add even more flavor to this setting.
One word: Bravo!!
I just got the core box set from Amazon for $67. UPS screwed up the delivery and it was several days late, so I got a $20 credit, which I turned around and ordered the Adventurer's Toolkit (from Amazon).
Not a bad buy-in for a new RPG, just $67!
Looking it over, I am excited. This is no board game, but a really interesting new paradigm shift. I love pouring over thick books, but I'm realistic enough to realize that I'm of a certain generation of role-player. WFRP doesn't seem be 'less content' but a different way to deliver information. One in which is more visual and tactile.
I enjoyed this preview of future products, but I hope to see some previews that are less subtle..
I'm not as excited about the new edition as everyone else is apparently.
I love the new direction FFG has taken Warhammer Fantasy. This little tidbit is just another example of the quality I've come to expect from FFG. Kudos!
So much cooler than a press release. It's these kind of creative touches that make me think there's going to be some pretty interesting things coming out.
Very nice! FFG has done a great job with the new WFRP.
Im thinking the last one is another campaign featuring Chaos and Skaven
I love these sorts of things. They're nice to have during the breaks between product releases.
Here's to hoping for Dark Magic and Necromancy!
I enjoyed this immensely! Thanks FFG for a tasty pile of riddles. I am pretty poor at riddles, but I expect by next Yule we will understand the answers to many of the shadowy images! A pleasure!
Mmmm, not substance in that teaser :-(
D: I hate this because it makes me excited for the stuff that's coming soon.
Why must you torture me, FFG!!!
Still, looking forward to what's on the horizon....
Ooo... a campaign, a bestiary, a magic supplement, and a Chaos supplement maybe?
