A Living Card Game™ (LCG™) breaks away from the traditional Collectible Card Game (CCG) model by offering a fixed card distribution method. Tourney for the Hand is the first pack in the A Tale of Champions cycle and is themed around the great tournaments of Westeros. This Chapter Pack features 60 fixed cards (3 copies each of 20 unique cards) for A Game of Thrones: The Card Game. The never-before-seen cards in this expansion introduce two new keywords–melee and joust–new elements that will create thrilling new deck-building opportunities and strategies for A Game of Thrones.
Featuring new versions of favorite characters like Arya Stark, Ser Jaime Lannister, Knight of Flowers, developed especially for the new environment of A Tale of Champions, as well as introducing brand-new characters like The Knight, Dorea Sand, and Meera Reed (designed by 2010 Castle Stahleck Champion Andrea Gualdoni), Tourney for the Hand has plenty to interest A Game of Thrones players, both new and veteran.

Use the cards in this Chapter Pack allow players to augment existing decks or center entirely new decks as you respond to challenges in exciting new ways.
On Dangerous Grounds expands and develops the focus on Melee running throughout the A Tale of Champions cycle as new cards encourage players to forge and break alliances. Ladies attend the tourney grounds, and as the contestants struggle for supremacy, many of the cards from On Dangerous Grounds reward players who win early challenges. On Dangerous Grounds has plenty to interest A Game of Thrones players, both new and veteran.

Unique characters and support cards bolster strategies featuring their House’s most renowned personalities, and characters possessing the new Melee keyword continue to find clarity in the heat of battle.
