It sounds like most spaces in the City are adjacent to the river, so this trip to the Temple from 6 Fates Inn doesn't seem impossible.

I missed the '6' connection to number of players *or*  numbers on the die.  I thought it referred to Fate as used in the game. Didn't the 2nd edition City space for this Inn also offer a game of gambling too?

Errata? If you roll a six, you can go to the Temple as your next move. It is quite straight forward.

Maybe your right. I was thinking much in line with the Carnival adventure card. On 6-rolls you cross the stormriver as you where using a raft, and found this quite impossible while in the City..

Not to the six possible outcomes from the die roll then ?

Aye, Also a good call.  It gets ever more interesting.

Aside from eagerly anticipating The City expansion, as we all are, I do have one particular hope/concern. As anyone who has visited the 2nd and 3rd edition Cities will have noticed, there is a strange lack of lady-folk. 2nd edition City has the Valkyrie (character), Enchantress (board space), and Dancing Girl (follower). 3rd edition has only the latter two. Even the artwork on the cards is bereft of female figures. Here's hoping 4th edition solves the mystery of the missing women. At least there are going to be some new female characters, but let's see a more diverse populace on the Adventure cards :)

I don't think anyone has mentioned that the fellow in the middle of the box cover is carrying a Mancatcher. Since this item was often used to subdue and control violent prisoners, is it possible he is some sort of City Guard / Jailer / Bailiff?

And, I do agree that the gent in the top hat looks a little too clean to be a ratcatcher, he does resemble Jack Black, Queen Victoria's personal ratcatcher. But I do think the spyglass on his left hip does indeed make him the Spy.

1000 apologies for the delay, but there are now TWO spoilers available for The City on Talisman Island. One on the main site, and the other on the Facebook fan page!

I hope you like them!

There will be another along at the weekend…

Awesome stuff.

Fang is one powerful puppy to have and extremely hard to lose.

This would be massivley beneficial for the warrior being able to reroll 2 attack dice to determine hisattack score.

I hope that we get some news soon about the City expansion.

It´s already 21 november, and we only get one announcement.

Maybe that it will be released in February or March…

Those truly were awesome cards, Mr. Talisman Island, thanks for sharing.

They were worth the wait! I agree with Velhart that Fang is awesome. My wife and co player loves "wolvies" so I showed it to her; she being the ever cynical said:

" But you can still lose him other ways! "

at any rate, I wonder how the bounty thing will work. I liked the Dragon county card on FB, its an object, okay, a trinket - weightless object.

Will we have to lose it when we claim these trophies, or does it stay with you, some sort of quasi-legal "document" or license to kill, as it were?

 That's "bounty", not county!

I am hoping for better than February, but I think its been pretty long since the first news of the City (official). Blood Moon had faster updates, but it was a smaller set.
