Updated first post under Desolation of Hoth to add the Battle of Hoth to OSet 40, not sure how I missed that one. And updated Assault on Echo Base with the more recent list posted earlier on this page.

Since the first set number in Edge of Darkness is 69 we know that the last 2 packs of the cycle are only 2x5 sets each.

If Desolation of Hoth will be released in March, I wonder if that will be legal for Regionals in April?

It should be, unless FFG has some wierd force pack legality rule.

It is very likely that they will have such a rule, as they do for thier other LCGs.

I don't think FFG ever has an "official release date", until it appears as "In Stores Now!" on the Upcoming page.

I have some good news. According to the local comic  book shop,  I was told that according to the distributor, Feb 26th is the release date for the first force pack. Can anyone confirm this or have heard this date as well?

That's extremely optimistic. Even if the shipment were to reach the Fantasy Flight Warehouse today, it's supposed to take about 1 to 1 1/2 weeks for the cards to get in the hands of store owners.

True, i did not realize that. I'll keep everyone posted as we get closer to that day but I am not holding my breath that this date will pan out. I still think mid-late march on this release. This is the first I heard of any kind of date so thought I'd share.

My sincere appologies, the Feb 26th date was for X-Wing Miniatures, not for the first force pack. My appologies. However, I will be calling coolstuff soon and see if they can give me a date on this one.
