I'm seriously considering picking this up (Gnomes staving off their eventual doom 'neath the ocean? Sign me up!) but I must admit to being curious. How difficult is it to actually win? I'm likely getting it regardless of the answers I receive, but I do like when a game's capable of breaking my gaming group into little itty-bitty pieces. :)

Well, I went and bought the game, so I answered my own question. Only played two games so far and though we came close to victory the first game, we only lasted 30 minutes or so the second one. Pretty frakkin hard, I'd say. But a blast!
