Unfortunately, I'm somewhat stuck on how to make the deck better without sacrificing the theme. The concept already ties up 8 of your objectives… Maybe 2x Emperor's Web for some extra removal and tossing the Emperor to edge battles?

Actually I would play set 30 over the droid set. You're sacrificing being able to play switch cards by about 6.6% but have a much better double set of cards that plays well with theme and gives you a good fate dump in the squadron. You'll be locked out of Sith cards 7.1% of the time (same for navy), but about 17 of every 20 games you'll be fine.

very nice idea, but Shadows are the weekest Sith objective set, I strongly suggest Imperial Command instead for economy, more good troopers (for Trooper Assault) and Orbital Bombardment, perfect for that swarm of cheap units and necro-droids

I would think that Boba should be able to capture a unit even if his damage would destroy it. The reaction doesn't check for the location of the card.

And when we hear the truth, even if we don't understand it, we feel that truth resonate within us…vibrating with our unconscious wisdom. Perhaps the truth is not learned by us, but rather, the truth is re-called…re-membered…re-cognized…as that which is already inside us."   Peter Solomon, The Lost Symbol

Except the rules say that abilities can only affect in play cards unless they specifically refer to the out of play location.
