During Radagast's Request (see below)  if Glorfindel heals Wilyador is he removed from the game?

Radagast's Request
Type: Quest
Scenario: A Journey to Rhosgobel Encounters: ,A Journey to Rhosgobel,
Quest Points: 12
Response: After the quest phase begins, the first player may place X dmage tokens on Wilyador to look at the top 3 cards of the encounter deck. Reveal and add 1 of these cards to the staging area, and discard the other 2. X is the number of players in the game.
Forced: After a card effect heals Wilyador, remove that card from the game.
The Eagle's health has grown worse, but you have at last arrived at Rhosgobel, where Radagast examines the bird. He then asks you to head out into the wilderness to find the healing plant, Athelas. Meantime, any healing lore or supplies your party has it its disposal could be used to assist in comforting the Eagle until you return.

Glorfindel
Type: Hero Sphere: Lore
Threat Threashold: 12
Willpower: 3 Attack: 3 Defense: 1 Hit Points: 5
Noble. Noldor. Warrior.
Action: Pay 1 resource from Glorfindel's pool to heal 1 damage on any character. (Limit once per round.)

Yes.

Glorfindel's effect is indeed a "card effect," so he will be removed from the game if he heals Wilyador during Stage 2B. Probably best to avoid doing so unless you're in really dire straits. 

For scoring purposes, he would be considered "dead" at the end of the game (i.e. you would add his 12 threat to your total). 

Real men play with one Core Set.

NO you wrong. If you remove Glorifindel from the game his threat level will be not count for final score cose he is not in discard pile. Only heroes in discard pile counts.

 Nate has ruled in the past that a hero that was used, but is no longer in the game, should be counted as "dead" for scoring purposes.

Also thought I shoud point out, that dead Heroes do in fact go to their owner's dicard pile. If this wasn't so, Fortune or Fate for example wouldn't work.
