Any GenCon games Scheduled?
Published on 11 April 2010 - 16:02:25

With a listed August release, I was hoping to find some Deathwatch games scheduled for GenCon this year.

I found a seminar, but no individual games listed. Do they usually have rpg games scheduled or just demo them at their booth?

Deathwatch is being released at Gencon, so it's likely that, unless FFG run some demo games, there won't be any Deathwatch games running.

I do not speak in any official capacity for FFG, all my posts are my own opinion, speculation, etc.

Sorry for not replying sooner.  I am running one I just couldn't list it as such because the game hadn't been announced at the time.  It's called Know No Fear.

I forgot to add: once we get closer to the convention and I know what my schedule is going to be, I'd be up for running a second  game in the RPG Library or wherever such impromptu gaming can be done if there's enough interest here on the forums.  I'll post here when I know more.

I am interested, and can bring at least one other to the table, maybe as many as three others. I have played Dark Heresy and 40k, and really love the setting. Let us know if you pull another sessions together, or when your current sessions is booked and a timeslot.

Friday is probably the best day.  I'm more or less open until 4pm.

Maybe either right after the Deathwatch panel or something starting earlier with a break in between for the panel.

I don't want to set anything in stone just yet, but that's what it looks like.

PS- Anyone else interested feel free to post here so we know who you are.  Wouldn't hurt to email me through the address at the site in my signature, or friend me on the forum.

Hey there!

I'm actually one of the lucky few to get into your 'Know No Fear' game (Even though it didn't SAY t was for the new Deathwatch game, I figured what else could it be?) so I look forward to participating in that.

Out of curiousity, the other game that I had interest in 'Trials of Ascension', was cancelled. Was there just not enough time in the day or no interest or...? Playing 'The Next Level' of Dark Heresy would have been cool!

Cool!  I haven't made the characters yet, so reply to the email (if you're not one of the guys who did already)  if there is anything in particular  you want to play. (Note that Space Wolves are already overflowing though!

I just decided I was too busy to do both games justice.  Looking at my Gen Con schedule was starting to feel too much like work!  Plus I'm much more intimately familiar with Deathwatch than Ascension.

Okay folks, here is the information on the Friday session of the game and how to sign up:

I'm going to post this in the general gen con forums eventually, but I'll leave it here for a few days so the FFG forum-ites get first shot.

Oh, what the hell. I'll play Andrea. That Assault Storm Warden looks like fun.
