Sir James: If the penalty for failing the story is simply changing Sword of Glory into a Tommy Gun, he should fail if he is ever delayed, as opposed to delayed 3 times.  At least, either make it easier to fail or make the punishment more severe.  I also wouldn't include the ability to allow the Sword to ignore Weapon Immunity on the pass.  The rest is probably fine, although it seems like it should treat Magical Immunity like Magical Resistance but whatever.  In all honesty, I probably would've started him with an Enchanted Blade instead.

Robert Lasenby: Give him a stronger reward for passing his story.  It's going to be difficult to acquire 9 more clue tokens without spending any beforehand, unless he happens to get lucky on the Unique Tome draw (Illuminated Manuscript, King in Yellow, or True Magick).  Out of curiousity, how much did you price Unique Tome at?

And I think his storie's reward is pretty good and helps the team. He also has a range of useful abilities. Just starting with an ally chosen out of two is pretty darn good. Reading for free is awesome, and rational is a two-edged sword but I believe it does more good than harm.

This means that among all unique tomes in Arkham Horror, the average cost of a Unique Tome is about $4.17 rounded up.  I'm not gonna tell you that you should up the cost of the Unique Tome to $4 (which I probably would), but its worth considering whether $3 is the right price.

Also, I never said I thought the story reward was bad.  It just feels underwhelming for something that not only requires you to collect 10 clue tokens but also discard 5.  Like, I kind of feel that it should also increase his maximum stamina by 1.

Sadly, you're allowed to edit posts only for some minutes after you post them. No way you can do anything thereafter. Technically, it should be possible to edit the opening message of every thread, but 99% of times this does not work either. Sorry dude…

1) Find the post you want to edit.  Right click on the "Quote" icon and select "Copy Link Location".  This will give you a long url.  For example, when used on this post you get this:

2) There are two changes you need to make before going to the above address.  Find the word "responder" and change it to "editar".  Additionally, take the very last "c" in the address and change it to a "m".  The result should look like this:

I've also confirmed that this trick does work for Topic Posts as well, but you won't be able to change the name of the thread from that edit screen.

However, any post you edit in this fashion will be treated much like a brand new post, so you'll have access to the long lost "Edit" button on those posts.

Anyways, I'm probably just gonna move all my content into my new thread from now on, but I'll still come here to help with critique and all that.

It feels weird responding to the investigator thread now that I have a seperate thread, but whatever.

I kinda feel that this Sherlock doesn't have any actual weaknesses.  He has a free spendable clue token every turn, which given that it's an ability only attached to Granny Orne and Mythos Lore is definitely powerful, and he possesses a Lore of 6 with an assembly of 4 tracks.  This is mostly balanced by the fact that he's down to a single focus, but Watson's focus bonus plus the skill slider movement available once per turn turns the only possibly detriment into a "better than most" benefit.  I don't think he's broken, but he seems really freakishly safe.

Hey, thanks. Personally I find his arrangement of traits thematic. And you said so yourself- he's not broken. Sure, tier 1, but not tier 0 (a tier I just made up for broken investigators such as Daisy, Patrice, Wendy and Rex).
