I agree with you. The painted minis are much better but already having the unpainted minis in MOM makes it seem too expensive to buy them.

I prefer how monsters are sold in AH as cardboard tokens with the game, which can be upgraded to painted minis.

just wonder if anybody else think that it's sad that the MoM line is sold with the figurines included.

I think it's cool to have the figurine to play with but I don't understand why they are sold included. Since they make the game more expansive to buy, and  I think the game should be sold with only the tokens. It should be the customer's choice if  he wants the figurines or not.

More, if you already own the Arkham Horror boardgame then it becomes well... bad.

I want them all and I'm ready to pay for them.

But, if I buy all the monsters from the waves, then I would have them in double if I bought a MoM expansion. And I don't wanna wait many years collecting them through the MoM line to be able to play with them at AH since they're already available in waves. I can't also plans buying only  the ones that won't be available with MoM since I don't know if they're be release throught MoM or not. And if, for any reasons, I choose to not buy a specific MoM expansion which included figurines, then I'll be also screwed. And what if I wait for MoM and FFG decide to stop the line before completion. Maybe at that time the monsters waves wont be available anymore.

See the problem? Any thought?

The largest one should be Dark Young judging from pictures ive seen online?

Well, the Nightgaunt has become AH101 so just those 4 left!

I recently completed the full set of AH miniatures, and after some bookkeeping have noticed there are five numbers missing:

AH90

AH92

AH93

AH96

AH101

are there figures for these missing numbers ? or is this on purpose, to drive us collectors insane ?

I found the tiles much easier to use once I started laying a piece of Lexan over them to keep them from sliding around.

So, this is slightly confusing.  Some people saying it's sold out, others saying it isn't.  And this thread is from 2 years ago...

The listing for this item still says In Stock, and I just ordered one, although I never received any sort of tracking confirmation and it's going on 2 weeks since I ordered it.

Did I just pay for something that is already sold out, and the website is listing it incorrectly as being in-stock?

I stand corrected.  I saw in the expansion I was playing last week.     Lost miserably.

25mm is basically 1 inch - the standard size for role playing mats. The Arkham Horror figures are perfect for that scale, though the monster bases are much too big.

I've rebased my entire collection for use in my Pathfinder games and will have Wave 4 rebased in two weeks. Personally, I've used bases off of scrap DDM and Star Wars minis, but I've heard great things about the wooden bases from Gale Force 9 and "George Bases" by RDG Products.

A kickstarter is underway to redo the Horror on the Orient Express Campaign for the Call of Cthulhu RPG. One of the Stretch Goals (met) is upgraded 25mm Train Car handouts. Wondering if the figures, investigators and monsters, lend themselvs to this scale? Hopefully they are, as the pre-painted figures would provide even more atmosphere to the campaign. 

 ....and mine is already falling apart.
